Man, after two weeks of meeting new family members, a baby gets really tired. I just got back home today. I can’t believe I’ve spent half of my life away from home already! It was great meeting my grandma and paw-paw, and finally meeting ye ye and auntie Alice. Tomorrow, grandma and paw-paw leave to go home, and auntie Alice will come and stay with me and mommy while daddy’s at work. Also, ye ye is going back to Taiwan soon. I will miss his whistling to me. I also got so see auntie Ellen again, too! Wow, I’m so popular!

Finally! Daddy got a picture of my good side 🙂 Don’t I look innocent? You’d never guess that my diaper is fully loaded, ready for Daddy! Here, he used his new Nikon D40, shutter 1/15, f5.6 at 55mm, ISO 400. Not too shabby.

So mommy and daddy took me to Ne Ne’s house on Long Island. My Grandma and Paw-Paw came all the way from the midwest to meet me. They like me a lot. All day long, I’ve been held by someone. That’s why I haven’t had a chance to blog lately. It’s eat, sleep, poop, hold. eat, sleep, poop, hold. Sometimes not in that order. This week my aunt Al is coming and so is Ye Ye. I can’t wait to meet them. Yesterday, I got a visit from auntie Felicia and Uncle Jason. They brought me a super warm blanket that daddy says looks like popcorn. I wonder what that is.

Being out here has messed with my sleep, though. Since I get held all day, I sleep all day. Then, I play all night long with mommy and daddy. I think they like it this way. Daddy forgot to bring the USB cable for the camera, so I can’t upload any pics from this trip, but I’ll post some soon.

Speaking of pictures, daddy got a new camera. It is called a Nikon D40. It kind of looks like mommy’s SLR. Too bad it isn’t a full-frame sensor. Daddy will have to remember that the Nikons have a 1.5 multiplication factor when he buys new lenses. Also, he won’t be able to use autofocus lenses that require in-body AF motors, since the D40 has no built-in AF motor. That’s okay, there are plenty of F-mount AF-S and AF-I lenses that daddy can get that will work with the new camera and mommy’s SLR as well. Also, uncle Dan got the same camera, so they might trade lenses and other gear. I still think uncle Ken had a point when he told daddy he should have gotten the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. Daddy said he was trying to save a little cash. Well, like he’d listen to me. I’m a baby.

Okay, that’s all for now. In the meantime, I’m waiting for Jada to be born! Ooh! Also, Kara is coming out to visit me next week. I can’t wait to meet her. I give her mad shoutz from one super-baby to another. Peace, my sistah!

Wow, so many people have come to meet me. I’m so happy to have such a big family! This isn’t everyone, but Daddy’s a little slow getting the photos processed. I’d do it myself, but I’m a baby. I don’t understand these things.

Well, there are more visitor pics, and I’ve told daddy to get on it. He just looks at me like he doesn’t understand. Ugh.

It’s been a while since I posted. Sorry everyone. Between family and friends visiting, a girl barely has time to poopie. Well, okay, maybe not 🙂 Anyway, daddy’s going back to work tomorrow. I’ll miss him. I should save up all my poopie diapers for him when he comes home. Won’t he be surprised? Anyway, I’ll be posting some new pics soon, as soon as daddy gets the server back in working order. How many times do I have to tell him not to do major upgrades during the week? I mean, come on, the 2.6 kernel isn’t that important! I know this, and I’m a baby!

oh boy, these hiccups! I keep getting hiccups at night and it interrupts my beauty sleep. Why doesn’t daddy fix it? This weekend was pretty exciting. Family came to visit, and so did uncle Jacob and auntie Diana. They’re moving to China soon… wherever that is. I think they’ll miss me, though.

So I’ve discovered that I really like to nap on my tummy on mommy or daddy. It seems to help me with my gas issues (until we see the doctor). Also, I keep hearing the p’s talk about something called “day and night”. They seem to think I have no idea what they are. Well, I don’t. I’m a baby. Whatever this is, I’m supposedly mixed-up. Well, I guess I don’t mind so long as I get my milk on the same as now. Of course, I don’t think this will affect my production of poopie diapers for daddy. I wouldn’t want to let the old guy down, you know. I think these parent things need to have some structure in their lives, so I’ll give them that much.

I’m so mortified. Daddy called the doctor and told them I have diarrhea. Luckily, the doctor is much smarter than daddy. Doc told mommy to lay off drinking milk for a few days and see if there was any change. The nerve of daddy! Anyway, so auntie Jeanne called last night, and she and mommy and daddy talked up a storm. They were talking about lots of stuff I didn’t understand, like growth spurts and something about uncle Brian falling asleep with a glass of water. Well, I’ll make sure my daddy never does that. I think I have found a way to keep him awake.

I’ve been spitting up a lot, so mom and dad decided to not feed me so much. Thank goodness. You’d think they’d have gotten the hint long ago. But, I guess you have to be patient with these new parents. I think it’ll take a long time to train these two. They’re a little slow. Also, they haven’t quite figured out the diaper changing thing. I guess it would help if I let them know when I dirty it up. They suspect that certain looks on my face mean that I’m doing something, but I’m changing it up a bit on them.
