A Hard Day’s Night…

May 23rd, 2007 by eden

Last night was pretty tough. It started out well with a visit from Abby. She’s pretty cool. For some reason, I had really bad gas. I think it has something to do with an underdeveloped gastrointestinal system, whatever that is. Anyway, I woke up in the middle of the night soaked in my own spit-up, a fully loaded diaper, and I can’t stop crying. Finally, sweet relief came when mommy held me and helped me “vent”. As a result, I think I’m sleeping in today.

Day 10

May 22nd, 2007 by eden

I don’t know what it is that mom is eating, but it sure is making me stink. I finally got past the whole meconium nonsense. I think the doctor said something about dijon mustard. I have no idea what that is, but maybe it’s something nice? My favorite thing in the whole word at this time is leaving little presents for Daddy. I know he likes it because he is always smiling. Sometimes, though, I have really bad gas and cry really loud. I think Mommy and Daddy really like that. They keep putting these silly things on my hands. I can’t really pick my nose or scratch my face when they do that. What’s the deal?

Hello world!

May 22nd, 2007 by eden

Hi everyone, this is my first post. You may have seen some posts about me on mom’s or dad’s blogs. Daddy helped me set up my own, so now I can post while they think I’m sleeping. WordPress is pretty cool. I recommend it to all you babies out there. Just so you know, I’m using Daddy’s Powerbook. It’s pretty cool, but getting kinda old. I wish he’d upgrade so I can work on some of my movies. This thing needs more RAM. Pretty soon, I’ll start using linux. It’s all the rage among newborns these days. I want to learn as much as I can, and someday be a kernel hacker, or something like that. Anyway, here are some pictures of me:

Stylin’ as we leave the hospital

This is my totally sweet getup for making my exit from the hospital.

relaxing…

After a hard week of being born and getting used to life post-womb, a kid needs to relax a little.

cool digs…

So, auntie Fran made this awesome blanket. I can’t wait until I can see colors and distinguish textures to get the full effect!

ah, sleep…

I love my new place. It’s filled with blankies.

dino baby

Dinosaurs are my favorite, and daddy knows this.
